  • 486/1997 Royal Decree: WORKPLACE:
    Appropriate measures should be taken to protect workers authorized to enter the areas of the workplace where safety of workers may be affected by risk of falls from height. Platforms, scaffolding and walkways, as well as the unevenness, holes and openings that could involve workers fall hazards greater than two meters shall be protected by railings and other equivalent collective protection safety system.
